Muzhappilangad is a small coastal village in Kannur district in the Indian state of Kerala. This village is renowned for its 5 km long pristine Muzhappilangad beach.Dharmadam island (Pacha Thuruth) is visible from here and Anjarakandy river enters in Arabian sea near this place.Muzhappilangadu is famous for "Thalappoli", A three day festival celebrated in March at "Sree Koormba Temple". In this festival devotees take Kalasham (a sacred brass receptacle) in a procession to the Temple to show their respect to the Goddess.

Muzhappilangad Drive-in Beach (4 km length) is the largest Drive-In Beach in Asia .The beach is about 5 km long and curves in a wide area providing a good view of Kannur on the north. Local laws allow beachgoers to drive for a full 4 km directly on the sands of the beach. The beach is bordered by black rocks, which also protect it from the stronger currents of the ocean.
